- Dosage for Constipation: The usual dose is 1 sachet daily, which can be increased to 2 or 3 sachets per day depending on the severity of the condition and individual response. Treatment typically lasts around 2 weeks.
- Preparation: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 ml (about a quarter pint) of water. Stir well until the powder is fully dissolved and the solution is clear or slightly hazy, then drink it.
- Faecal Impaction: For very bad constipation (faecal impaction), the dose is typically 8 sachets a day, all dissolved in one litre of water and consumed within 6 hours, for up to 3 days. This should be done under medical supervision
