Key Ingredients & How They Work

  1. Benzocaine (Local Anesthetic) – Numbs throat pain temporarily.

  2. Cetylpyridinium Chloride (Antiseptic) – Helps kill bacteria and viruses causing throat infections.

  3. Additional Formulations – Some versions may include anti-inflammatory agents (e.g., flurbiprofen in Andolex-C).

Uses

Sore throat relief (viral or bacterial infections, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
Mouth ulcers & minor oral irritations
Post-dental procedure pain (e.g., tooth extraction)

  • Adults & Children (12+ years): 1 lozenge every 2–3 hours (max 8 lozenges/day).

  • Dissolve slowly in the mouth—do not chew.
