🛡️ Protect yourself against malaria:
✅ Use insect repellent, especially between dusk and dawn.
✅ Wear long sleeves and trousers in the evenings.
✅ Sleep under mosquito nets or in rooms with screened windows.
✅ If travelling to a malaria-risk area, ask a healthcare professional about preventative medication before your trip.

⚠️ Know the warning signs:
Malaria symptoms may include fever, chills, headaches, muscle aches, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.

Don't ignore the symptoms! If you develop a fever during or after visiting a malaria-risk area, seek medical attention immediately and mention your travel history. Early diagnosis and treatment can save lives.
